Few motorcycles earn a following measured in decades. Fewer still inspire the devotion of collectors, riders, and historians in equal measure. The Brough Superior has done both since 1919. From a small atelier in Toulouse, a dedicated team of artisans produces each motorcycle in limited numbers to a standard that has never been compromised.

Origins
The Brough Superior name was established in Nottingham in 1919, when George Brough began building motorcycles to a specification no manufacturer of the era could match. The designation came quickly and from an authoritative source, H.D. Teague, Midlands Editor of The Motorcycle, who called it the Rolls-Royce of motorcycles. George Brough thought enough of the comparison to seek Rolls-Royce’s permission to use it. They agreed, but only after one of their own engineers had toured the Nottingham factory.
Among the marque’s most devoted riders was T.E. Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia, who owned eight Brough Superiors across his lifetime and was riding his seventh at the time of his death in 1935. The eighth was already on order. The original factory fell silent in 1940. When the marque was revived in 2013, it returned not as a tribute to what had been, but as a continuation of it, the same conviction, the same standard, from a small atelier in Toulouse.

Customer Care
We support our owners across servicing, maintenance, warranty, and parts — with a direct line to the Toulouse atelier when the factory needs to be involved. A Brough Superior is built to last. We intend to make sure it does.

Who We Are
In Toulouse, a small team builds motorcycles by hand, to individual order, to a standard set in Nottingham in 1919. We represent that work here in Australia — and we are proud to introduce you to it.
Bespoke
Each Brough Superior is drawn from a commission, a dialogue between maker and owner that determines specification, finish and form before a single component is shaped. It is, in the most precise sense of the word, bespoke.
